貔貅 (Pí Xiū)

Since last month, I have welcomed a strange beast in my home. Sara, who brought it to me told me that it was a Pi Xiu (貔貅, or Tian Lu 天祿), one of the nine progenies of the dragon. It is said to be very auspicious, much able to ward off bad luck (for people born in the year of the Sheep, it is supposed to be useful), and to pile up richness, as it not only craves gold, but it also cannot expel it, due to a celestial punishment. Depuis le mois dernier, j’ai dû recueillir une bête étrange chez moi. Sara, qui me l’a apportée m’a dit que c’est un Pi Xiu (貔貅, ou Tian Lu 天祿), un des neuf rejetons du dragon. L’on dit que c’est une créature très auspicieuse, capable de repousser la malchance (pour les natifs de la Chèvre, il paraît que ce serait plus qu’utile), et d’amonceler les richesses, car non seulement il aime l’or, mais il n’est pas capable de déféquer suite à une punition...
