Dies Circæ

Enigmare – it is night
and falls on you is the fright
the glusk and blime
of a boundless plight…

Æthernity – it is light
and dawns on you is the bright
the blusk and glime
of a bountiful flight…

Imago

Husk in the shape of a present
Peeled from the bud
of a butterfly

Vyana[¹] as light as straw
swivelling in the streams
of its wings

Prism of colors and scents
For that fluttering instant
where all is new

[¹] In Hindu Yogic tradition, one of the five pranas (life force). It is related to circulation of blood and distribution of other vital energies throughout the body.

Ebb and Flow

On the shore berth’d by a singing tune
and its gliding notes stroking the horizon
  The wave has landed.

Caress of sounds on the edge of a zephyr
Pas de deux of mossy foam
on the rim of a lonely dune.

On the shore crackl’d by the sun
tiny shards of vermeil nuggets
are singing in a sway of maracas

Dancing for the wave to come back.
